I’m so happy to have completed my very first Robotime Meetup as an organizer ![]()
Even before the event officially started, participants were already arriving, sharing their Robotime creations, and chatting with one another. Seeing the room gradually fill with stories, creativity, and laughter was such a lovely feeling.
A big thank you to @Robotime for giving me this opportunity, and to everyone who shared tips and support along the way. As a first-time organizer, I truly appreciated all the help.
Before the meetup, I invited everyone to bring along any Robotime miniatures they had built and share the stories behind them. I was delighted to see so many people participate. Their creations quickly became conversation starters and helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
One of my favourite moments happened before the workshop had even begun. The room was originally set up with several small tables, but participants naturally moved them together so everyone could sit as one group. That simple moment perfectly reflected the spirit of the meetup — bringing people together through creativity and shared interests.
Throughout the afternoon, participants built, chatted, exchanged ideas, and helped one another. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly, and full of positive energy. It was especially heartwarming to see families building together and participants connecting over both their hobbies and personal stories.
More than half of the attendees were first-time participants, many joining through recommendations from friends or family members who had attended previous workshops. It reminded me how powerful community sharing can be. When people enjoy an experience and share it with others, that enthusiasm naturally grows and reaches even more people.
As some participants were friends from the Keung To fan community, you may notice a few Keung To-themed touches in the photos as well. ![]()
Our meetup reached full capacity with 20 participants and two accompanying guests. Although a few participants had already left early or preferred not to be photographed, it was still wonderful to see so many people come together for the group photo. Before leaving, many people were already asking when the next meetup would be. Some shared photos and feedback online, while others told me their friends had become interested after seeing their posts.
One of the highlights of the day was connecting everyone’s completed builds into one large collaborative display, including Super Creator sets and other miniatures. It perfectly reflected the theme of our meetup: “Share Joy, Build Together.”
As a first-time organizer, I was definitely nervous beforehand, but seeing everyone enjoying themselves made all the preparation worthwhile.
I’m truly grateful for this experience and look forward to creating more opportunities for people to connect, share, and build together in the future. ![]()
