I need help. My cuckoo clock won’t chime on the hour. it only pops out when I press the front step. Its not even a matter of it not being synced properly there is no position of the dial that will trigger the bird to pop out. Ive made sure that the hourly charm function is turned on and still nothing happens
My problem is that the click doesnt cause the cuckoo to chime at all.
Did it work properly on your test in the beginning?
I dont remember if it did. Im starting to think it was never working but i thought it did.
Well, I would never proceed if it was not working from the start…but now your only hope is that @CustomerService will help and you can rebuild. Sorry this happened for you.
I was a little confused by the wording of the instructions at that part.
I am sorry to hear that. The instructions are usually very clear. Was this a first time for you on a mechanical model?
ive built the scout beetle and the oil pump jack. Both of those involved more lights and moving parts than this.
Welcome to community. You should check battery. If not, You need ask @CustomerService for help.
Great words of wisdom @ThaoNguyen . That very well could be the problem.
Batteries are brand new and even plugged in to usb c has the same issue
I’ve always found that communicating directly with them is more effective.
It’s just a shame that this problem could have been resolved in the beginning. Testing is always an important issue. If it doesn’t work from the start, chances are that it will not work in the end. This is why they ask you to test before proceeding. It could be something as simple as a connection error from the start.
Welcome to the community!
Robotime recently posted something explaining everything about cuckoo clocks; it might be helpful.
Hello,
We recommend using USB for testing first.
Please be sure to remove the batteries before testing with USB.
We do not recommend using both USB and battery power at the same time.
You can contact @CustomerService for help, there amazing at helping you eith problems
Sorry to hear that you are having this issues. If you could check all the connection is done correctly and still not working then it could possible due to the mechanical component that need replacement
Welcome to our community! I’m sure someone will help you, but unfortunately I haven’t built this one yet. Good luck!
