Hi I have completed the clock and the lights and cuckoo work fine. I can adjust the time - hour and minute hand but when using USB and batteries the clock does not work. The pendulum works fine. I have checked the clock connection to the battery case and it looks fine. Any suggestions?
I haven’t built it yet, but maybe @CustomerService can solve this problem ![]()
Some of the experienced people here who have made it may be able to help you! Like @Nita_Davis or @Wenbare if my memory doesn’t betray me.
Welcome to the community, @Ainsley!
Oh no, that’s frustrating… Honestly, I can’t really think of anything else if the pendulum, lights, and cuckoo are all working and the connections look fine. It sounds like it could be an issue with the clock mechanism itself.
@CustomerService might be able to help you troubleshoot this or arrange a replacement if needed ![]()
Hope you get it fixed soon!
Welcome to community. I’m a little surprised by this issue. People usually have more problems with the cuckoo bird part. It’s possible the clock hands aren’t securely attached to the joints, preventing them from rotating. Please check again, and if it still doesn’t work, contact @CustomerService they’ll help you.
I did not have any issues with mine…but I would try using the USB only…or vice-versa and see if either of them will work it alone.
Hello there,
Could you please try removing the battery and running it using only USB power?
①If it works normally with USB power, then the issue is likely a dead battery.
②If it does not work, there may be a problem with the electronic components, and we can provide you with replacement parts.
I have read that if using USB, remove the batteries. i think that may even be in instruction book. oh and welcome to the community @Ainsley !
Batteries are new. Does not work on USB only or batteries only.
So sad to hear it’s not working properly. Are the hands fully secured? From what I’ve read, Robotime can send a replacement part. I know they’re off next week due to Lunar New Year, so it might take a little longer for a response.
Hello there. Welcome to the community.
I haven’t build the Cuckoo Clock yet but I hope someone in the community can help you resolve the issues.
Tried one and two. Clock does not work. Please send a new clock.
