I’ve assembled the cuckoo clock, and I can hear the ‘click’ that it’s said to listen for while turning the dial counter-clockwise, but it never cuckoos. It does cuckoo when the manual step is pressed, however. The ejection and return are smooth, but it doesn’t chime hourly nor at all unless I press the step button.
You can take help from @CustomerService , i hope they can solve your problem ![]()
Press and hold the stairs button until you see the light flashing. You could have accidentally turn it off the chiming function.
NICE @Tricia12 ! I never thought of that.
I do not see a light flash when it chimes. The other light works. The problem is that the chime doesn’t chime hourly.
?
I didn’t have that problem. And I’m thinking you might have connected some wires to the circuit incorrectly because I don’t see the light come on or the motor start. Maybe @CustomerService can help you
Usually if you set the clock correctly at the hour, the clock will chime at every hour. If you press and hold the stairs button for about 3 seconds and you don’t see any lights flashing then you might connect something wrong. I also suggest connect using usb-C cable rather than battery.
Welcome to the community, Rhonda!
You’re in the right place, everyone here is always happy to help. It looks like you’ve already received some great suggestions, especially about checking the wiring and trying it with the USB-C cable. Hopefully one of those fixes does the trick ![]()

Could you please confirm whether the customization function has been enabled? To do so, please long‑press the button. Two flashes indicate that the function is turned on, and four flashes indicate that it is turned off.
Oh my goodnes!! This worked!!!
Than you so much!
yaye, I’m glad its all working for you. this is a beautiful clock.
