Setting the Hourly Chime: Please recalibrate the time by removing the minute hand and slowly turning the dial counterclockwise until a “click” is heard, then stop. Reinstall the minute hand to align with XII, adjust the time to the current moment, and then reload the batteries.
Wel, I have the same problem, have recalibrated it several times but I only get 3 cuckoos on the hour. I was not advised anywhere that this is the case.
Also disappointed that it doesn’t play music

Hi,
For some reason the cuckoo will not appear or chime. When checking everything you can hear some ticking sounds in the motor part but the rest is not working. Already exchanged at store I bought for new set but no result. Later I got a new motor as I assumed this was the problem but again still no chime, no cuckoo and only small ticking sounds..I really believe I’m the one to blame after new parts twice but I’m convinced it’s something in overlooking ? Should I exchange the p24 part as well ?
OK this is what I remember, hoping your instruction book is same. bottom of page 3 and top of 4. Parts K3, bag 1 - P3 and P5. must be assembled properly and snapped together. That assembly must then be placed correctly. If it is not I dont think he will cuckoo. Hoping this helps. Otherwise maybe @Robotime can direct you.
Good luck!!!
Hello, based on the issue you described, there is a high chance that the batteries may be depleted. Could you please try removing the batteries and testing the product by powering it via USB instead? This will help us determine whether the problem is related to the power supply.
We’re sorry for the trouble with your product. Could you please send us a short video showing the issue? Our team will check it and, if needed, send you free replacement parts.
If it’s an assembly problem, we’ll guide you through the steps.
Hello, we have already sent you an email. Please kindly reply to that email with a photo or video of the issue. This will help us identify the problem more accurately. Thank you!
I have just started building the ROKR Cuckoo Clock. I got to the point of testing the cuckoo and it makes the sounds and tries to push out the bird. However, the actuataor for the doors slips. It looks like the cog that connect to the motor spindle is fine. However, the spring doesn’t seem to be strong enough and the actuator just slips rather than pushing the bird out and opening the doors. Has anyone else had this problem?
I did build the cuckoo clock and had no real issue. I do remeber someone saying that you need to really push that into place by the spring. I think it was on page 3. I dont know if that will help. @Robotime any other ideas?
Thanks. I didn’t have the spring over the ring on K3. I have now done thjat and it works better. Most of the time it pops out but occasionally it doesn’t. Sometimes the doors don’t fully shut. Is that to be expected?
In the end I put a small thin piece of self sticking rubber under the spring on part P5 above the cog. This stopped the spring from slipping at the bottom and now the bird works perfectly.
