I built this a few months ago and it was working perfectly fine up until a few days ago the cuckoo won’t come out anymore, as well as the sound not chiming either. When I press the step nothing, lights, clock, pendulum all still working perfectly. I opened it up to try and get a look lifted up the plastic housing and pressed the step with me ear up to it and hear it clicking a lot but no bird sound and no bird popping out.

This situation may be caused by an issue with the electronic components. We are willing to send you a replacement set of electronic parts.

Sorry to hear about the clock. This could possibly due to electrical fault. I use mine with battery the whole time to ensure the time work well and not confuse the system with the usb-c
Have you replaced the batteries if that’s how you are powering it?

Hi there, I’ve had the exact same problem with mine, he’s been working fine for the past few months. But today stopped working, everything else is working fine, but no cuckoo. Replaced batteries and used USB to power it, but still nothing. The motor makes a ticking sound as though its trying to do something, and very occasionally the cuckoo does work but not fully. Hope someone can help. I’ve ordered a new motor from spare parts.
Yeah it could be something wrong with the motor.
