Cuckoo Clock Issues

So I have just finish my Rokr Cuckoo clock and it was working perfectly. The cuckoo bird come out and chime at the exact hour.
However, this morning I noticed the bird doesn’t come out every hour. When the clock click at the hour, the bird usually comes out by itself. But all of a sudden the bird doesn’t come out until I press on the button at the step.
Need help with this please.

Everything else is fine. Lights is working and pendulum is swinging without any obstruction. Brand new batteries as well so I don’t see where the issues is.

Greatly appreciated for any help.

If you do a search or look at back page it tells you about pushing that step. Holding it down can turn it off. Dont know if that will help

I did search it up and so I am trying that now. let see if it does the trick in the next 6 minutes.

That’s great to hear. Congratulations on getting through it without any problems.

Fingers crossed for success!!

It is working now. Thank goodness. So that was an on and off switch for the chime.

Hi  Based on your description, it seems the clock suddenly stopped chiming. Please try pressing and holding the button on the step — when you see the light flash twice, release it. Then, wait until the next hour to see if the bird chimes automatically.

Holding the button turns the chime function on or off:

  • Light flashes twice → Chime ON
  • Light flashes four times → Chime OFF

Thank you for getting back to me. It is working now. Such a relief. I didn’t want to take it apart if I don’t have to.
Now thinking, the design of this clock is very smart.

Yay! I am so glad

Can’t wait to build this one! It looks stunning, I hope you can solve your issue!

It is an amazing build. You definitely should try this. I have solved the problem. Apparently the stair is the the on/off button and I turn the chime off without realising. So it is all good and chime perfectly now.

Hope you can fix it soon! It sounds like everything else is running perfectly, so maybe it’s just a small mechanism issue with the bird. Fingers crossed it’s an easy fix!
