Hi all,
I am 3/4 through the build (page 29 instructions). In testing all the working components…the lights work, the cuckoo works but the clock does not. Turning the adjustment dial to the hour triggers the cuckoo but the hour minute and second hands do not move. …has anyone encountered this issue? Either I am missing something or the clock mechanism is defective and or an issue with the power box?
I did email “service@rokronline.com” already but figured id ask here as well.

Does it work with the battery in it?
Hi, both battery and usb power make the lights and cuckoo work fine…the hour minute and sec hands do not move and no pendulum movement. if the usb is used the batteries are removed and vice versa.
Hmmm…that sounds like the clock mechanism may be faulty. Maybe @CustomerService can help you with a bit more trouble-shooting. I would try using both. Mine worked with both installed

I think the problem is with the battery. Try using a Type-C cable.

Thank you…I emailed service@rokronline.com yesterday…they responded and requested video of it not working, which i provided early this morning….Im guessing the clock mechanism is defective but also worried about the battery box as well but if the other functions work then it may be ok.
Hi…I used both new AAA batteries and the usb cable which works on other rokr models so Im guessing its a defecetive part.

You can also try removing the battery and testing it using only USB power.
