Christmas Dream Gift Factory Light Issue

Hello Friends, I am on the last few pages for the assembly of the Dream Gift Faction. I almost done. I have been testing along the way and all was good until today. Now I have a light issue. The blinking “Production” light works fine, but the other string of lights does not. If I tap the bottom of the puzzle with a screw driver, I can get the lights to blink.

What should I do? I think the light string came loose from the control board?

Welcome to community. I think you need to find a way to reattach them. Please contact @CustomerService , maybe they will help you

Only thing you can do is take the plate off that is covering the board where all the plugs go in to and check I’m afraid.

I agree with @Jerry_Boswijk . They have those little connections that should hold them very snugly when inserted fully.

Welcome to the community, @D_Pose.

I haven’t built this kit myself so I can’t help you properly, but as others have mentioned, I hope Customer Service can offer you a solution. Hang in there, and I hope it gets sorted out soon!

It’s a shame the lighting isn’t working properly in the end. Did you do any tests in between? Did the lighting work properly then? I think the only way is to remove the board, as Jerry and Nita suggest, so you can check if the connections are correct. Please let us know if you where able to solve the problem

Hello there,

Based on what you’ve described, the issue may lie with the light strip. I suspect that some of the solder joints on the light strip have come loose.

I’ve built this and didn’t have that problem maybe check the light plug is fully in X

Yes, the plastic plug was loose and came off the strand of lights. Can I fit it without taking the whole thing a part? this forum is not letting me add a photo to show you
