Alas!! I have broken a bit on the bottom of one of the main petals. I have glued it and waited for it to dry but it broke again when I tried to out it back on. I have tried all of my glues, so tomorrow I will raid my husband’s super glue and see if that works!
If not, I will either forget it or request a new part.
For now, it’s been packed away u til I can look at it with new eyes.
@Suzanne_Jones the muse bookshop look fabs it loved doing me ! Also i had to superglue my rose petal on ! No other glue worked xxxx:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
What kind of plastic is it? Plastic cement might be a better option for fixing something like this! It basically welds the plastic together, but you need to make sure you know the type of plastic the petal is and buy the right type of cement!
It should say what it is on the plastic you cut the petals out from! As long as it’s not ABS plastic regular plastic cement should work! ABS plastic needs specific ABS cement.
Thats an idea. I am unsure and I would hate to buy a special glue. Although I will say the grands keep breaking things and bringing it to me to try to fix! Maybe I should invest!
