[Challenge & Achievement] Space Shuttle - step 2-3

Perfect day with mom! I remember when i used to hang out with mine playing board games lol

That sounds like such a lovely afternoon! :heart:I actually visited my parents this weekend too. I surprised them with sushi, my dad was busy watching football, and I ended up lying with my head in my mom’s lap while she scratched my hair. :joy: Never getting to old!

That is such a sweet story @Tinybysiw.
How wonderful that you still have this relationship with your mother.

Wow, the mechanical part is so advanced, I love it! I can’t wait to see it in action!

I know others have run into some issues (usually similar and something to do with motion). I have not built but know they say, wax and sand! There were also a few videos out there for any troubleshooting, should you need it.
I am sending positive vibes! You got this!

Excellent advice! Sanding and waxing play a MAJOR role in the smooth movement of this model. @jeanneL

Thank you @jeanneL I’m really waxing and sanding like my life is depending on it. I hope that if I do that and follow the instructions very closely I can get it done without too much of a struggle. :crossed_fingers::smiling_face:

It is and it has proven its worth already many times in mechanical kits. So I’m really taking this kind of advice to heart

Don’t you just hate when that happens…? It’s so random…like you can come back in 6 hours…or 17 minutes…or 23 seconds…LOL! @jeanneL

My next update will take a little longer. I have worked on step 4 yesterday. But I will have to go back on my steps, as there is something not really working like it is supposed to and I will have to figure out what it is .

Once I have found and fixed it. I will definitely writhe an update with my findings as well

I hope that you can figure out what the issue is.. please let us know if there is something you need help with

I will. I need to take it apart again first. And maybe I can see the issue immediately. But I will definitely let you know if I need some help. It worked once so I know all parts should be okay, I just might have missed something with the construction.
