I am making the Sakura Wine Alley booknook and have run into a real problem. I cannot seem to keep the left hand side buildings on the booknook. Everytime I get it on their the building seems to buckle and not stay on. I am trying blu tack to keep it on and even thinking of majorly gluing it on. Or even getting a nail to get it to stay on. Does anyone have any tips. I am able to get it staying on for about five minutes but once I get it on the rest of the nook it buckles, it is very frustrating.
I haven’t built it but can understand the frustration. Sorry about that @Bellamy_Cavendish
I havent had this problem with any booknooks yet but you can use Hot glue, its fast drying and helps with Wall bucklings like this or maybe @Robotime can help
Oh. I haven’t done this one but have you check the other parts if it was place properly?
I love that kit, but I haven’t built it yet!
I’m sorry I can’t help you.
I haven’t built that on yet, but wondering you might be able to clamp it or use rubber bands to hold it in place?
Can you illustrate with pictures? I can’t visualize your problem.
@Bellamy_Cavendish ive not done this one im sorry your having difficulties maybe @Robotimecan help you ![]()

Sorry to hear that you are having difficulty with it. Cần you send some photos of the issues?
I haven’t done that book nook yet but I usually glue stuff if they won’t stay on. Can you maybe share a picture so maybe we can help you
@Bellamy_Cavendish that sounds genuinely frustrating, especially when the side building holds for a few minutes and then buckles once the nook comes together. If you can share a photo of the left-side building and the tabs/slots around it, the community will be able to spot whether something is slightly misaligned. Before using anything as permanent as a nail, I’d try the clamp or rubber-band ideas people mentioned and check that no neighboring piece is pushing the wall out of line.
I have done this one but do not recall an issue with walls. I may have had ceiling issues though. I will look at my notes but meanwhile, check to see if there is any warping? Also tagging @customerService. They can read your original post here and perhaps send a new one?
I dont have manual in front of me (probably threw out) but here is link to mine. There were some steps that I had to wax. see if that helps at all. Here is link:
