It’s the flat disk on the bottom with 5 holes. I’ve sanded rough spots and waxed well. They just don’t line up and my hands are sore.

Are there any markings on the piece to guide the orientation of it? Although I haven’t built this, I have found on previous builds of mine that didn’t line up, it was because I had the wrong alignment or turned it the wrong way.

Oh no, that sounds frustrating, especially after all that sanding and waxing! I’d definitely take a break before forcing it any further. Hopefully someone who has built the Plutus Cat can share a trick for getting those five holes aligned without hurting your hands. Fingers crossed you can get it sorted without having to redo anything!

The one person I knew of already answered.
