Regards Doron
Hi @sonra, welcome to the community! Maybe @Robotime can help you with the cage door. I hope you can get it sorted out!
Have you replaced the batteries yet? I think dead batteries could be causing this problem.
Hi and welcome! I would check the little wire under the door to make sure they are properly aligned.
Hi thanks for try to help . I use an 1A USB power supply not battery

Hi thanks for try to help .I don’t see any wire under the door s only the metal rod use to push/pull the doors

The metal rods are what I was referring to. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I just know that in the very beginning, that was my problem. Hope you can find the problem.
Did you check if they can move freely. Maybe sand them a bit so there is less friction
I cant be much help, just wanted to say welcome to the community and im surr you will find the help and answers you need here!
Good luck!
Hello! Could you try moving these four parts by hand to check if they move smoothly? Even a slight jam could prevent the cuckoo from going back properly.
Hi thanks
Try to move by hand and don’t feel any jam problem To clarify the problem is that the doors start to close move about half way and stops

Hello, after removing the door panel, please test the power supply to confirm whether the cuckoo clock can respond normally.
If the door body responds normally, this indicates the issue lies with the door body itself. Please install the door body correctly and manually open and close it repeatedly to stretch the installed connecting rod.
the clock is already build so i i don’t know if i good i will disconnect the doors rods
i managed to remove the doors and the bird go in out with no problem so i think that if the door rods spring is not exactly in the right position it can cuuse the problem
Glad to see you worked it out, im looking forward to doing this build one day so I will keep these tips in mind!
hi it was a problem with the doors rods. It is import that they will freely move one without pushing or pulling the other i now have no problem

Just finish my cuckoo bird, and I experience the same issue.
I found the screw for P19 is touching top of F22, and causing bird and door not in/ out all the way and not all the time.
My solution is using an utility knife to chip top of F22 a little bit ( of course, you can sand it), my bird In and out all the way and all the time now.
