This kit has been calling my name, and I’m finally ready to dive in. The box front tells you right away what you’re getting: Type C power, music functionality, 265 pieces, and LEDs. I’m genuinely curious how they’re going to work the LEDs into a carousel—that’s going to be interesting to figure out as I build.
Opening the box, I’m already impressed. The plastic base is where the real magic happens. It’s got electronics—you can see the power components, the motor, all the pieces that are going to make this music box spin. The quality of these parts looks really solid, and am super happy with how these look.
Then there are the horses. Oh my gosh, look at these horses. They’re not just single pieces—you’re building the body, the head, and the tail separately and then assembling them around the carousel posts. That’s so cool. The detail on these is stunning, and I’m already thinking about how I’m going to paint the edges on them. That’s going to be a challenge, but in the best way.
And this big circle board? Look at the size of this thing. This is going to be an immense build compared to what I’ve been doing recently. I’ve been battling a cold and I’m just finally ready to get into a deeper project—something that’s going to be a little more intense and really worth the time. This carousel feels like exactly that.
I’ve got my boards organized in my paper sorter, my tools ready, and I’m settled in. Let’s do this. Stay tuned—there’s plenty more fun to come as I build this one.
This one will certainly be a fun one for you after the coffee factory. I think this crazy weather has everyone battling with cold and sinus issues. Glad you are on the mend.
