This week I’ve been turning Sunshine Town (long a favorite - I’ve built it once already) into Stayville. “Stays” are the fanbase of the group Stray Kids, so “Stayville” is the imaginary place where the fandom dwells.
Like previous builds, I worked off the original pieces and only really modified the tree (which became a Stray Kids “nachimbong” or lightstick). The rest was just sticker paper printouts, flatback rhinestones, paint, printed transparency for the roof panels, printed vellum for the merch shop windows and a few extra lights.m scattered around.
Another super fun kit modification - I maintain that Rolife kits are the easiest to customize!
@NoodleSalad wow what can i say ! You have done an amazing job on transforming this kit ! Its fantastic ! I love the black and red theme ! The chairs are amazing and so are your posters !
Thanks so much, Jo! Stray Kids can be tough because they don’t really have any “official” colors and their art really change with each album, but there’s often a red and black theme and I love those colors together. Thanks for your very kind words!
Thanks, Jill! Yes - it’s funny because the booknook folks don’t often listen to kpop, but when I post the nooks in the Stray Kids or BTS subreddits, the fans really love them! Hopefully I’m turning Kpop fans into booknookers and miniature enthusiasts!
