I’m so happy to finally have my Aroma Toast Lab finished! This bakery kit is beautifully detailed, and this time I made several changes to add more personal touches.
I redesigned the windows and the main door on the ground floor. The original design was mainly black with interior lighting, creating a very special effect. I kept this concept, but replaced the window with a film-style image of my idol, Keung To. On the other side, I used black plastic to mimic a black glass door, and added wooden strips to create the main entrance.
I actually posted a photo in my previous post and asked everyone to guess which kit I was working on. I was really surprised that even with just a few small details, @Nita_Davis managed to guess it correctly — she is amazing!
Because the door looked a bit plain, I later added gold handles and a doorbell as decorative details. Since the overall tone was quite dark, I also changed the pipes to white to create more contrast.
I also added a light to the small lamp on the right side. To hide the wire, I replaced the original decoration with climbing vines, added a touch of white flowers, and used them to cleverly conceal the wire.
As I personally love purple, most of the flowers were changed to purple tones. I also customized some of the menu boards and the shop name to relate to my idol, Keung To.
On the second floor, I placed my own figurines and added photos to the wall to make the space feel even more personal.
I believe many people enjoy customizing their miniature kits to reflect their own style, so I wanted to share my modifications in hopes of giving you some inspiration.
