Phew, what a job! I had the whole piano assembled, and while testing it, I discovered it was getting stuck at one point and then slipping back. Somewhere the gears were stuck. When i tested it before and had no problems. So I took everything apart to see where the problem was. So far, I haven’t found it. I’m going to put everything back together, hoping it will work out fine. This is the first time I’ve been able to throw the whole thing out the window. The paintwork isn’t great, and it doesn’t work well either.

What a shame! Do you think the paint is affecting its performance? I hope you can fix those issues.

No it is not the paint i sanded an waxed everything good, so that is not the problem. Hopefully i find the problem soon

Yes very frustrating, I don’t think I’ll ever build anything for anyone again haha…I’ve made about 10 builds without too many problems and now that I’m building one for someone everything goes wrong

I know you dont care for the paint but I admit it may look cool and I kind of like the flourescent glow in the dark.
I hope you can figure out what is not working. Maybe a video and either someone here or customer service can help? Dont give up! Remeber this is a gift! and you will always be remembered for it!

It took me 1 hour to find and fix the problem but i think it is ok now
Yeah it can take a while. I spend several hours fixing the friction problem with the spaceshuttle. I thought I would never solve it.
