I’ll probably make something for someone else again
but I know I won’t be painting a completely black structure again anytime soon. You really see everything in black.
Luckily i found the problem. Hopefully i can finish this build soon ![]()
So glad you found the problem, hope rest goes smoothly ![]()
I’m glad you found the issues and able to fix it. Looking forward to your tips on this.
I’m almost done
everything works fine now
Ooof ill have to keep that in mind when i paint something black! Whoever gets a present from you will be super happy! Youre the best! ![]()
Thank you so much! I have discovered that if I moisten my brush slightly with a sponge and then paint it with black, it spreads better on the wood and therefore does not get streaks and spots.
Oh no, that sounds so frustrating! I can imagine how disheartening that must feel after all that work. Don’t give up — sometimes taking a break and coming back with fresh eyes helps. I’m sure you’ll get it working again soon!!!
She has been doing amazing job.
Thank you @wenbare for your support! The problem is, I can’t rest until I find the problem.
Luckily, it didn’t take too long to find it.
Thank you @Tricia12 ![]()
Good to know! I am unsure what to do with guitar. I was going to go with red, but maybe I will wait.
Red would be i nice color ![]()
I may practice on some of the spare wood. I would love a glittery red. I think @Nita_Davis said something about polish. Maybe red polish or glitter clear? will test first
I think red is a nice color
i don’t know what nail polish is doing on the plain wood if you put it directly on it. Maybe @Nita_Davis knows it? I always test a little bit on the sheet what is left over before i going to paint a piece
When I did my Dream Cabriolet, I painted it all first using matte acrylic paint. I then coated over that using glittery nail polish @jeanneL and @Liset
Beautiful!
YES! The glittery colors will work on guitar then!
I think the nail polish a brilliant idea.
They absolutely should! @jeanneL
