Buckle up, this is two days of crafting ![]()
Most of the furnishings are officially done and I am so in love with how everything is coming together. Every little piece is starting to feel like part of a real, lived-in space ![]()
The teal table is finished and fully styled with all its accessories. The Fan with a beautiful tassel, book, and teapot add so much charm, and adding those tiny gold accents just make it feel extra special ![]()
The pink cabinet/ peach desk is complete too. I used the drawer handles to temporarily hold some of the hanging pieces that
needs hanging elsewhere, which honestly worked out perfectly. The tiny books and scrolls give it so much personality ![]()

The orange table and surrounding pieces are also finished. The instrument, floor lamp (light will do later), framed art, and all the tiny details ![]()

Method to the Madness
More mini magnetic clip appreciation pics…
The cat’s collar was originally supposed to be made with the provided air-dry clay, but mine had dried out, so I improvised with a yellow rope from another kit and painted it red ![]()
I also painted the wooden pot gold to match all the other little accents. Cutting the paper strips down to 2mm lengths was definitely tedious, but also weirdly satisfying once everything came together ![]()
I may re-do this box, I had to scale down the sizes that was given from the instructions, and it still feels off ![]()
And yes, I have officially started the tree ![]()
![]()
I used black air-dry clay from another kit and added dents to create a realistic tree trunk texture.
I find the tree is chipping brown colours so I painted it with a pink base using Tamiya spray paint, this helped the acrylic paint stick better. I layered dark and light brown. I finished it with shading using a black acrylic pen and added highlights with a light brown acrylic pen ![]()
For the petals, I pressed the centers with a dotting tool and glued them organically onto the branches
I got tired after work so this is where I’m stopping for today, but I am so happy with how it’s turning out so far ![]()
