📖 [Rolife Journey] Progress A-frame

Yesterday and this morning i spend colouring the chairs with acrylic markers. Added several layers. It is not as clean as paint but it does give it a weathered design. It is taking me much longer but i really like it this way. The chairs are a bit wobbly and the tabs of the backrest don’t fit in properly so u glued the part together.

Mine are glued as well. Happy to see you bringing out the paintbrush…especially after the harrowing PBN nightmare…

Oh very nice work! I’m gonna get some markers too I’ve always just painted with a brush but it’s gets annoying with small parts.

You’ve colored the chair well and they’re nice colors. I didn’t know markers are also good in coloring woods. I often use acrylic paint.

@Jerry_Boswijk it looks great! I also use markers for small paint jobs & little touch~ups. Those small chairs looks like a lot of patience

It went quite fast but they were a little unstable so i glues them. The colouring was really easy

You have different size tips for these markers. The one i i have in this colour is a little bit to large to get into al the curves of the side of the chair so a brush might be helpful but this is what i had available for now.

I can’t afford paint riggt now and had the markers. I have used them before on unpainted plain wood models never on painted wood but it works oke. I did samd them

Does the marker bleeds when use on the woods? Just curious since I didn’t try yet.

Good job, @Jerry_Boswijk!! That weathered look turned out really nice!
The acrylic markers add so much character, and taking the extra time definitely paid off

Thanks and they work really well.
