You know the guy who would do paint by numbers? Well he stopped after 1 hour haha. I gave it to my wife and started the A-frame cabin. Look at how many different part there are in here. I’m really gonna e joy this one. I found a big box of paint markers on my daughter room. Like posca markers and stuff. So i started colouring the chairs you start with. See what happens with the markers if i give my own swing to the project.

Well i might work on it for a bit to help her as it is a really big project. I thought it would be easier to be fair but canvas is harder to paint and cover then i thought.

It is much harder then i thought to get clear lines and stuff. My wife is much better at it haha. Ill stick to try to customise my kits. This was a to big a step.

I agree with you 100%. Even though I’ve got tons of experience with painting, that was too stressful for me. NOT relaxing at all.

Yeah that’s fair. Paint by numbers is actually quite a big project.
January is quite busy for me too so I’m trying to hop on whenever I can but less time online is always a good thing to be honest.

I wouldn’t mind paint by numbers if I only had to do one coat of paint for it to look nice, the minute I have to do more than one, I’m out.

Priorities well chosen!! 
The A-Frame Cabin is such a great pick, and those markers are going to give it so much personality. I’ve found that Posca markers have colors that are a bit too strong for things like painting the edges, where other acrylic markers work better. I’m really curious to see how your build progresses!

I have never customised anything so im doing it as i go haha. I only have markers. Hope to get some paint when my salary comes in.

Change it for sure but i dont have any paint at the moment just markers so may leave the couch for a while untill my salary comes in. Do you sand the furniture before you use markers or paint? Like with the chairs.

I did one chair yesterday but needed to apply more then one coat but it works really quickly. Will do more tomorrow and makes photos by daylight.
