I received my Hot air balloon prize a few days ago and I was really excited to test out these stains i have had for a few years. I have used these on solid timber before and they are fantastic. They are a little opaque, you can still see the wood grain which i really like and the tiniest amount offers sooooo much coverage! They can be diluted a lot, they are really really concentrated! Its nice and fast and quick to dry too. So far im loving using these! I need to mix up a few more colours! :star_struck:

The colors came out to vibrant :heart_eyes: Thats such a great idea! But definitely need gloves next time lol! Im excited already to see how it turns out!

Haha well i tried to wash it off and its pretty on there so i think a few days maybe :rofl::rofl: whoops!

dishwasher detergent if available or something we use here, soft scrub, helps! but be careful as they are stronger stuff

The colors looks amazing :star_struck: you did a great job! I use acrylic paint and it is easy to wash off :wink: I think you will still see the stain on your fingers for a while :sweat_smile:

I think the hot air balloon model makes a great canvas for color. Hot air balloons should be bright and colorful.

That looks amazing already! Those stains seem to work beautifully, the wood grain showing through is such a nice touch. Can’t wait to see the colors you mix next… and yes, gloves might be a good idea next time :joy::joy::joy:

I’ve seen hot air balloons up close at festivals. They are surreal to see. And very bright colors.

Robotime models make fantastic gifts. People really connect with them. Im sure your friend will be really happy to receive it.

Those worked out very well. I do love how the color pops. Gloves would be a plus for the next round
