My brain is absolutely fried today… I’ve been working on a teacher training course that has the deadline today, finishing the school evaluation meeting that need to send tomorrow, correcting an exam… honestly, I could feel my energy dropping more and more. And the funny thing is that today was supposed to be my “recharge day” before starting the week full of energy tomorrow! Yay!
Since my headache was getting worse and I desperately needed to disconnect, I decided to spend a little time working on my Kiki’s Magic Emporium. It really helped clear my mind.
Most of the time today was spent designing some background elements for the walls. I’m keeping that part a surprise for now, but I think it’s going to look sooooo cool once everything comes together. I’m very excited to show you when I start assembling it!
For now, here’s a piece I actually finished today. I added the Kiki’s Delivery Service design, attached all the missing knobs, and since I felt like adding a tiny extra touch, I decorated it with plants popping out of the drawers and on top. When I place it in its final spot, I’ll probably add more details and adjust things, but for the moment I’m happy with how it looks.
It may seem like a small update, but between the designing and the decorating, I spent two hours on it. Now that my mind feels a bit clearer, I’m going to go for a walk and get everything ready for tomorrow. It’s going to be quite a week!

I feel you on this, small detailed things usually take a while and that’s okay. I hope you’ve been able to have a quick recharge working on your miniature! It’s also important to take care of yourself and rest if you need to!
