Sweet Dream DS016 is officially complete, and I have a confession. I did not realize it was a Scissor labelled kit
I truly believed I was signing up for a quick, cozy one hour build. Instead, I found myself cutting, painting, and gluing every tiny piece, two evenings in a row. A small kit with a big personality.
Despite the surprise, it turned out irresistibly cute. I love all the tiny details! The Pink Floral piece inside a vase, the bag, the cute bear…A perfect little dream tucked into my hutch, quietly filling a space and pretending it was always meant to be there.
Now I am turning the page and opening Sakura Dreamy Tour This kit holds a special place in my heart, so I am approaching it slowly, almost reverently. I am toying with the idea of adding a touch of glitter, like morning dew caught on cherry blossoms, but for now I will let the pieces speak for themselves.
So I open the box. The scent of fresh wood and paper rises. Petals seem to drift before a single piece is even placed. I take a breath, pick up my paint brush, and step gently into this new little world.
One piece, one moment, one quiet joy at a time.
Thank you!! I know I was surprised too, because I have done other mini ones, I guess its because its an old school kit. I am gonna look for the other. design in the series.
And yes! the dreamy tour is fun so far… i am so tempted to re-paint the background tho lol. I am definitely adding painting on the wood parts
Aww Miriam from one dream to another! It’s hard to wake up from something so beautiful. I wish we could just indulge in miniature building all day long.
I love that you’re finally building the Sakura Dreamy Tour, will you be gifting it to your mum?
It’s fun reading your posts…your wording is so intriguing. I love those small builds, they’re definitely surprising. Enjoy your current build…the glitter would be really pretty!
Thanks boo boo <3 I do plan on giving something to my mom… she had told me on more than one occasion thats she would like something Garden themed. I am really enjoying this Dreamy Tour and it’s taking so much of myself control not too paint over everything… hehehe the painter in me
Thank you so much! The accordion actually came with paper attachments but i decided to just use my acrylic pen to paint it over.
I was tempted to actually see the fabric pieces, but I was like thats too much work do I ended up using the glue it came with… im happy how it turned out
Ahahaha, I sometimes get carried away, half joking, half serious. I try to make my writing playful when I can, and this one may have been influenced by a freshly finished Bridgerton book. My humble attempt at sounding poetic
I’ll be picking up the specific glitter tomorrow. Trees are up next
