I’d been working over the New Year period and hadn’t really had any time to focus on my hobby. But I only worked a half day today yay, so I finally had a bit of time. :kissing_face_with_closed_eyes:

I jumped straight in and started on some very tiny pieces. They’re deceptively small and easy looking but took a while to put together because I’m a perfectionist and want everything to look as straight and neat as possible. :pink_heart:

This kit doesn’t really have a lot of parts to assemble but I’m working slowly since most of my time has gone into painting. I did notice there are a few pages of plants though so we’ll see how much I complain when I get there. :laughing:

I also enjoy focusing on the details. We set the pace; nobody expects us to rush. What I want is to enjoy the process and the results.

Thank you hehe! :pink_heart: I’ve finally escaped the ‘torture’ that is painting! I do have some pieces left because I’m not sure what colour to use. :melting_face:

They are tiny it’s evil! :laughing: But omg yes I honestly hate it if my lines aren’t straight or if I see a glue stain. But I’ve gotten better at accepting minor imperfections now! :smiling_face:

It’s fricken boring tonight…. Our furnace is basically down right now, so nothing really able to create problems for me to fix… :pensive_face: I’ve basically just been reading all night.

Thank you! :pink_heart: It’s a learning process and I definitely improved a lot over the years haha. Sharp tweezers and good glue are crucial. :blush: Some wire work I still find tricky!

Can you bring a kit to work and build? I remembered you mentioning it in the past. What about games hahahaha but I don’t know if you’re allowed to I’m bad influence!

I did bring a kit on Christmas, but I ended up getting so many calls I didn’t get to finish it. :pensive_face: I’ve been on a reading kick lately, so books are good at work, I also started watching “Solo Leveling”

Looking great so far @JDisaduck, they are tiny but you did such a good job. Ha ha I’m not the biggest fan of plants either, but they do make the models look amazing :blush:

Ohh Solo Leveling is on my list of I’ll never be able to catch up but let’s keep adding. :laughing:

Yeah, it’s one of my husbands favourite anime’s, I just never got a chance to watch it! I actually just binge watched “chainsaw man” before Christmas and really liked that!

Oh chainsaw man isn’t too bad! At one point I was really into Jujutsu Kaisen but for certain reasons (no spoiler) I have ‘abandoned’ both the anime and manga. :sob: :sob:

I’m waiting for Frieren Season 2 for some feel good stuff. :pink_heart:

YES THAT IS WHY I QUIT! I was even up to the date with the manga and all that! :melting_face:
