I wanted my build to pay tribute to Studio Ghibli because I’m such a huge fan! I almost always have their soundtracks playing while I build, it makes the process feel like stepping into one of their worlds. :pink_heart:

I had to spend time carefully measuring each printout I wanted to replace and scaling the images so they didn’t turn out all blurry or pixelated. I didn’t have much time after work so it ended up taking me two days just for this sheet of A4 paper.

But once I printed them, cutting them was the most therapeutic part. :blush:

Just a quick update today. I’m so happy with how the printouts turned out! :front_facing_baby_chick:

Miniature posters are homemade printouts featuring Studio Ghibli fan artwork found via Google and Pinterest, used for non-commercial, decorative purposes only. All rights belong to the original artists and Studio Ghibli.

This is such a fun update to follow! :heart_eyes: I really love how you’re customizing the printouts and making the kit feel more personal. That’s honestly one of my favourite parts of these builds, taking what’s in the box and tweaking it so it feels like yours.

Flowery Sweets & Teas already has such a cozy vibe and these little details really elevate it. It makes the whole process feel extra enjoyable, not rushed, just creative and playful. Can’t wait to see how everything looks once it’s all placed together!

I also love Studio Ghibli! Porco Rosso IS MY FAVE

Hahaha aww man there’s a lot of pressure that I’ve put on myself because I’m a perfectionist. It’s my first time customising to this extent so I hope it turns out well. :laughing:

Just gotta try and relax and not stress. Gotta love whatever comes out of it haha. :pink_heart:

I think a lot of us are huge fans hehe! I love Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle because Howl! :heart_eyes:

YOU SHOULD! :pink_heart: But honestly I’m not going to customise the next kit. This takes too much planning and I got so mad at painting hahahah. So I think I’m just gonna customise once in a blue moon. :laughing:

Aww that sucks! I went to Universal during off peak season and it was amazing! Longest I had to wait was 45 mins for a ride. :face_holding_back_tears:

We also went to Ghibli Park on another year but I didn’t have the time to make a video of it yet.

Maybe someday you can go back to Japan to visit the museum or park. It will be so fun and surreal.

Yes! She does voice overs on our earlier videos but now that she’s 9 - she doesn’t want to anymore :sweat_smile: she says her voice overs are embarrassing. Kids! :joy:
