Hi all, with all the festive jobs and planning I haven’t had much chance to start a new kit. I thought I would share my biggest kit makeover. I was so proud of creating this and it’s still one of my favourites. I don’t always makeover kits, sometimes it is more enjoyable to be able to just create as is.
I included some of the build pics where I was modelling what would look right. I did end up with a saw and one point changing the front

Wow! That is impressive! Doesn’t look like the original thing at all! You did an awesome job! I wish I had the imagination to do custom stuff, but I just can’t! I’m too OCD about following instructions!

Aww no @jeanneL if you can make these kits you are definitely creative enough. I find I don’t have a picture in my head at the start it just evolves. If I don’t like something I look at changing it and it goes from there. I tend to take 20x longer than most to finish a kit

I’m sure you would be able to but sometimes it’s just more relaxing to do the kit as is. I just change a bit at a time and before I know it it’s had a makeover lol.
This one took a while and my mind runs non stop until I’ve finished it lol
Omg this is gorgeous! The colour scheme is beautiful and so grand! You’ve even added walls! I can’t even with the pastries omg they look so real I am hungry! 
I honestly wish I have the ability to do what you just did so thank you so much for sharing this masterpiece.

Aww thank you @serenebliss_23, I’m hoping to do a bit more in the new year.
I did do about half of a graphic design diploma but I had my kids and didn’t get back to it. I’ve always been a PA/Secretary by trade. My last job in printing I got to do some package design.
I’ve always been creative, but miniatures really just stuck. I love creating mini things x
