👍 [Rolife - Challenge & Achievement] Making the plant in elegant study

Today i spend almost 2 hours on making the metal plant in the kit im working on. And the end i was able to twist the 6 wires together and paint them. I also had to untwist 2 paper strings and pull them into little pieces and later on i will glue them on the tree. I also painted the edge of the pot brown and started on the red table. Is doesn’t look like much but now i know why these kits take so long. Also part of my ordered tools came in. The glue bottles and corner that help keep walls level while drying after applying glue

Take a pic when you use those corners. I was looking at them but unsure if the boards would be too big for them.

Oh my goodness. Those look almost like feathers…which seems really hard to do. I wish the best of luck on those.

I have them and the boards fit perfectly fine. Since most (or probably all) kits by Rolife have walls that interlock, you will rarely (if ever) use them. I could’ve used them on that darn Holo City Magic House

I love mine. The ones I have are a little different, but they are so handy!

Those look like really intricate details you’re making. Hope everything goes well.

I am also curious how you’re going to use those corner tools.

They are looking good. I need those squares. You are doing great at making flowers and plants.

Yes, the old model kits always required a lot of effort, but the results were amazing.

That’s a fancy contraption that you have holding your plant! :eyes::eyes: I’m excited for when I get to building these, I didn’t really like this particular series of build, but after seeing you and @SunnyCee build them it really pushed me over the fence! Love the difficulty it looks like they have!!

Looks and sounds like a lot of little hard work! Great job though.

I will but it might take a while as i don’t need them for these kits more fore the bigger dyi houses like magic city and stuff.

Dora’s loft also looks like a next level challenge especially the old version.

They are really nice. I got the thing from a colleague but i ordered the clamps that you can move. They dont have the scharp teeth and are more flexible.

With such tiny parts I feel like working with them is as fun as it is physically draining :sob:

Ah the tree trunk looks really really good! :star_struck:

I know! Everything looks so small but they take hours to complete! But this is why I’m a fan of the older style, you get a very different sense of accomplishment! :pink_heart:

No it actually a tome to recharge for me. Sometimes i wanna rush a kit because i feel pressured to finish it but i don’t have it with this one because rushing it will ruin it.
