📖 [Rolife Journey] Red Camellia

Hey guys! :waving_hand:t2:

Yesterday I said I was going to start the garage today before work, but I ended up lying! Lol! I have all the available Rowood flowers sitting on my shelf so I decided to blindly grab one to do! It ended up being the Red Camellia!

I love the package of this series! I just think it’s so sleek and pretty!

Looking at the amount of board cutouts, and the instructions I knew this was going to be a perfect, quick build to do before work! Having a build that I could finish in one sitting is perfect so I can start a brand new one tomorrow!

This was after step 1 completion!

Step 2 completed!

And finally step 3, with the finished build!

I’m very happy with this build, it was nice, relaxing, and not too difficult! Tomorrow is my first day off, so after I have a nap I’m hoping to start my next difficult build, but we’ll see. I thinking Dora’s Loft, but maybe I’ll quickly do the Garage still before I start that, I’ll decide tomorrow!

Hope everyone has had a great day today!

Nice job! I absolutely love all of their wonderful flowers! The only wooden one I’ve not done is the purple iris. If you have the lilac, save that one for a rainy day…LOL! It’s a tough one!

Well, I’m glad I didn’t grab that one then! I just have a stack of these builds sitting on my shelf, and just randomly grabbed one from the middle of it.

It is! The flower kits are so aesthetically pleasing!

Pretty red camellia.:pink_heart: You’ve done it pretty quick. That’s awesome. Rowood flowers are really beautiful but I’m nervous when bending the stem since I might break it. Hello there labubus.:pink_heart:

I was nervous bending the stem too! It seemed to work out alright though. This build was only a 2 star, so I guess was on the easier side and pretty quick! I’m happy to have a clean slate for building tomorrow! The possibilities are endless! :star_struck:

THAT one will have you going cross- eyed. Be prepared to NOT lay it down for a bit as you will lose track of where you are placing bits  Take a potty break BEFORE installing all of the outer bits and pieces. Get yourself comfortable.

Very lovely, thank you for sharing. :bouquet:

I’m not sure which one you should choose next.

I love the packaging too! It always reminds me of a beautifully letter ready to be posted. :pink_heart: Would you consider painting the edges?

See how you go after you wake up from your nap? Have a feel for the room, is it giving chaos (Demon’s Loft) or is it giving peace (Garage)? Oh maybe ask your daughter!

F PAINTING THE EDGES. I have a few builds I actually do want to paint, like the amusement park rides, and the magic instrument series, but painting the edges on flowers, nah, that’s not for me. :joy: I do a quick easy build because I want it to be quick and easy, not tedious! :joy:

It’ll probably be a bit before I do another one! Going to start another mini kit tomorrow!

Haha, thank you for the tips! I’ll keep them in mind for whenever I get to that particular build! :joy::joy:

…You know I always try to share my love to you…but on this one…I just can’t…especially with flowers…  :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Haha, I know, I know! :joy: I do agree that painting the edges does look better, but I’ll leave that to the hardcore painting people!

Did you use a wax for the stem? Yes, flowers are easy ones though it has more fragile parts especially the stem. I’m looking forward to your garage post. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I still adore your work either way…but I get it.

HAHAHAHAHAHA bro I feel you 100%! Sorry I even suggested hahahaha! Trust me I never ever thought about painting edges until I see the posts on here.

Might attempt some day but probably too lazy for it. Or I might try once and then give up. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I adore your work as well, which is why I’ll keep vicariously living through you and your painting journey!:heart:

I did not use any wax for any of the parts! I’m not sure if I’ll start the garage tomorrow, or Dora’s Loft, it’ll be a surprise! :see_no_evil_monkey::hear_no_evil_monkey::speak_no_evil_monkey:
