10/10 this has been the hardest build for me. I dont know if I just havent been in the correct headspace the last week or if this is genuinely hard for other people. I did the voyager prior to this and didn’t break a single piece. This one has got to be at least 8 pieces broken and multiple not cooperating with me to fit correctly. Anyone else have an issue with this one? I’ve used so much glue I feel like it’s half wood half glue at this point

Sorry no experience with this one. But it looks like very thin wood and those snap easy
This looks like it would be a fun challenge.
I did not have any problems with this one except for the fact that I installed the right wall on the wrong side…and had to make adjustments later on to my roof because I had done. No broken pieces…but I did have to cut off a small portion of my roof. ROKR fancy stagecoach
Sorry, I have not build this before. Were you able to complete it?
I don’t have experience. I think they’re not too difficult, don’t worry.
Oh they for sure did! Lol
Definitely a challenge. I almost gave up! Get some glue if you do it!
I dont know how you did it lol i had many pieces that either immediately snapped taking them out of the board and ones that broke just piecing them together. Never had this happen before. Im always so careful.
I just completed it. The shaft for the larger wheels (the side that rotates) snapped in half while I was working on the opposite side so I had to massively glue it in order to get it to spin again.
If I ever have trouble getting a part to fit it…I will always sand it and sometimes wax it to make it slide in place easier. I know you completed the London Travel Marble Run…and there were a TON of tiny fragile pieces on that one. Sorry that you are having such a tough time with it.
@April_Parks You’re definitely not alone ![]()
This one has challenged a lot of builders, even people who cruised through Voyager without breaking a single piece. Some builds are just extra demanding (and headspace really does matter too).
The “half wood, half glue” phase is basically a rite of passage at this point
You’re doing great sticking with it, and once it comes together, it’ll feel so worth it.
Curious to hear from others too — who else wrestled with this build? ![]()

Why did I not think of waxing it ugh! Thank you for the tip, im definitely going to keep that handy for any kit I complete now. Thank you!
I finished it and the wheels rotate now. Im super proud and feel honored to get that right of passage
i definitely worked for it! Thank you!
It’s a nice kit.
Are you planning to paint it after you build it?
I’ve never made this but it does look very fiddly! I think there’s always a kit that ends up being a nemesis. ![]()
But I’m glad you managed to complete this! Even if it’s with the help of glue! ![]()
No i absolutely love the wood look. Some of them i may paint but my display of wood kits looks beautiful!
Thank you! I knew i would meet a challenge eventually. Just didnt think it would be with something less complex than what I usually build.

love it.
Yes, I agree with you. Some kits are better not to be painted and you might struggle to fit the pieces if you paint them.
