📖 [ROKR Journey] Dream Gift Factory complete!

Well I am finally finished! Some tips:
*Dont force pieces! there are lot of very fragile parts. Sand and wax!
*Take your time, read carefully, and utilize the videos by our @Martins_Assembly_H
*Test! I was lucky mine tested well each time and I tested about 25 times!

  • Be careful if tilting around and twisting to get things on. Easy to break other pieces.
  • I painted a few things, adding detail. I added metallics to my elves as well as the building. Unfortunately my red looks more pink but I am still happy!

I painted the christmas light bulbs and the holly on the yellow banners. I changed up the greens to be metallic or brighter. I also painted most edges. I may have missed a few but I will look when I am feeling fresh.

There wer some patches on some of the bricks which I thought were maybe to be snow? but no. I need to go back and cover those. (the white cloud on side of brick)
Enjoy! and if you have not already done this one, I would encourage. Know that it is not easy though! At least it was not for me. I had to really focus!

I just felt like it needed more vibrant colors. Even though a factory, it is run by elves, and it is for Christmas!

This turned out really lovely. I love the little additions you made. Yes, there quite a few patches of snow on this one…some in odd places to me.

Yes. Many are covered by other parts. I may just sprinkle a little snow down.
And thank you! This was a great challenge for me!

I can understand that! I was like that as well when I was building it since so many people here had built it already. I guess it’ll be a similar feeling once I start with the Cuckoo Clock, in a week or two now.
