Here is my finished Dream Factory. There are still bits I would have liked to have painted but I got to my limit
. This was such a fun build and so different to the Rolife builds I’m used to. Loved everyone else’s tips along the way thanks, especially the liberal use of wax!!
This looks A-MA-ZING! ![]()
Thanks for sharing. Funny enough I’ve just finished mine and I’ll upload it soon, although I haven’t taken pictures that beautiful!
Your Gift Factory looks amazing! ![]()

@Jo_Zanella This looks great! and colorful! I have not tackled this one and unsure if I will but love seeing that you did!
Aww thank you @TheToday that’s so kind
. I’m sure your pictures will be fantastic. I hope you had as much fun building it as I did.
Thanks @Jill_Francisco that’s so sweet
I used oven bake polymer clay for the snow. I really enjoyed that part.
These are such nice pictures! It looks so nice outside where you live!
Thanks @Tricia12 ![]()
Thank you @ThaoNguyen ![]()
Aww thanks @jeanneL, it was a fun one to do. I normally like the Rolife kits but this was a fun change ![]()
It turned out absolutely stunning! How did you made the lamps? I love it
like the snow too, you did a great job
Beautiful job! I love the candy cane lines on that little roof. Very original!
It looks really well. How did you make the snow?
Your Dream Factory looks fantastic. You did such a great job, and the result is really clean and full of charm. It’s definitely a different experience compared to Rolife kits, but you handled it so well. The finish looks wonderful!
Aww thanks @Liset
I used the existing lamp, then filled it with a drywall filler, but you could also use a wood filler. Then once dry I sanded and painted. I put a bit of wire around the top to neaten it up. Then coated the black paint in uv resin. I think the black is a bit heavy, it might have been better keeping the gold. The snow was fun. It’s just polymer clay. I baked then sanded and stuck it on.
Aww thanks @Nita_Davis , I could have gone on forever with painting little details but I got to my painting limit ![]()

Thanks for sharing @Jo_Zanella you did a really nice job! I don’t yet dare to modify a building with clay.
Thanks @Jerry_Boswijk. I made it out of oven bake polymer clay. I tried to get it as smooth as I could before baking. I sanded any bits smoother after baking, then just stuck on with some wood glue ![]()
