🥰 [ROKR - Happiness] Chocolate Factory Update #2

Found some time to work on the factory before I get busy bringing kids to school as school is officially back starting tomorrow.

And these kids just won’t leave me alone with it. They started playing with it already. :joy:

For these session, I was able to add more gear to it

Instructions are quite easy to follow but I must be extra careful not to miss a piece because it can easily be overlooked. I really had a hard time with attaching the shaft sleeve to the steel shaft. Pushing them through really gave my thumbs a sore. I hope there won’t be more of this step in the next pages. That’s it for now.

Looking good. I always use a hammer when it comes to steel shafts. No sore fingers as mine stay sore enough from a medical condition.

I only take 4-5 seconds video then compress them to be smaller than 10mb. There are lots of free websites that do those. Or you can upload to YouTube then share the link.

that looks like so much fun! I am glad you’re getting some quality time with the kids :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I wish my nieces were a little bigger so I can also build with them :laughing: Can’t wait to see the finished product!

I’m scared to use a hammer I might wreck everything :joy: I used the tools to press the other side. Now my tool has lots of circle indentions on it :sweat_smile:

The middle circle should be placed over the steel shaft. You will not have all of those indentations.

Thank you~ I try it next time :heart:

Hahaha yes, i know but some instructions just wanted it flushed so… :sweat_smile: that’s why

I know from the sound of my hammer when it is flush with those new tools. I love them! You only need to tap, not pound.

Hahaha I let them play with it during my breaks. When I need to attach something they let me work on it and they go play something else. :blush: They’re really good kids :heart:

@Jill_Francisco

That’s some great progress already! :heart_eyes:
I love how the kids are already claiming it as theirs, that’s the best kind of distraction :joy: The gears are looking amazing, and yes… those tight shaft sleeves can be brutal on the thumbs :sweat_smile:
