My 13 and 15 year olds started the Marble Climber kit today! :star_struck:

They got a little bit put together before they had to leave for another commitment. They will be working on it together over the next week or so (depending how long it takes for them to finish it haha).

So far they haven’t needed much help, just a little reassurance that they could apply the amount of preasure needed to get the pieces to slot in without breaking it. Some are quite tight and it was making them nervous haha

I decided asking them to paint it was pushing the limits so they are just going to assemble it as is for their first time :grin:

I will update once they complete the build, feel free to pass on any words of wisdom that they can read and maybe learn from! :folded_hands::star_struck:

I am only going to say that my hammer is my best friend…but ONLY with a level surface with support underneath the point of hammering. When not an option, you will grow those finger muscles you never knew you had when you can’t do so…LOL! Also, sanding and waxing tabs makes the task much easier. Happy building vibes to your girls @Nectarines

Thank you! The first park was really hard on their fingers :rofl: i helped with two bits and it was really tight! I was surprised haha so we might have to get ourselves a mini hammer!

Thank you! So do I! I think my 15 year old will like it and my 13 year old will prefer the miniature houses really but this is a good project for them to work on together :heart:

How nice that they are doing this together. We also didn’t paint our first kit. First let them ge the hang of it buidling the kits. Nex step is painting haha
