Thanks @Microgirl . One risky part of painting is if the extra layer of paint causes too much thickness. I was a bit scared of it…but I sanded and waxed as needed. SO relieved at the end.

Is this so difficult to build? I read that many people have problems.

@Liset I struggled in a few places where I spent probably a half an hour trying to get a roof onto like 7 pegs just standing there. There were several steps that I thought I would never get into place, but it all worked out. It’s a very tight puzzle. No broken pieces. I did glue in those dang window tints, because they would stay in place to move on.

Could it be because it’s more MDF than wood? If you paint it, will it swell more than with other structures?

Well, I painted it all and it works…so it CAN be done. As a house painter, I KNOW that water and water based pants can cause it to swell. I took that chance because I had also used the same ACRYLIC paints on my other models…which have recently had MDF as well. @Liset
