I have finally finished my gear ball challenge and it was with many challenges along the way. I am going to put this at the top of my list as far as one of the most difficult to build and to paint. For those of you who would like a challenge, this is definitely the one. While facing other non-building) challenges during this build, I forgot to install my two little silicone things that go on my little knobs. To be honest, I’m actually shocked that I didn’t miss a whole lot more. They will just have to remain missing because I’m not rebuilding to put them on. I am very happy with the outcome though

Yes, you did. @Jill_Francisco I feel for you…I truly do. For some reason (unbeknownst to me) my ball is stuck within the clear acrylic circle…and I have NO idea how to make it come out of the same hole it went into…??? I think I may try tomorrow to make sure that the ramp that follows is secured down well enough…but I am a freak about checking each of those as I go. Maybe this week I was a bit off. (mentally and physically). I hope that everything goes well for you. Your son will just love it once done. I am going to drop a ball somewhere else (past that point) and see if I can maneuver it properly. …Tomorrow.

Oh no! I hope you can figure out how to get it out. My son has been moving the ball around the board even if it’s not yet complete. Good thing he manages to get it out each time it falls in the wrong hole hahaha

I’ve seen many people talking here about this kit properly earning the Challenge word in its name, and that was only speaking about the building process. And you’ve already painted the whole of it! So it’s a double challenge for you as well as for @Jill_Francisco with her own.
You did an stunning job to say the least, be proud of yourself! You definitely should.
Now, I’m curious about that “easier and probably one single color” build you’ve mentioned that you’re doing now
