🫶 [Robotime Social Good] Little Builders Win the Evergreen Pine Bonsai Battle

My students really surprised me today! After helping them tighten all the loose pieces and cheering them on, just like I mentioned in my last post, they suddenly powered through, and most of them are now finishing their Evergreen Pine Bonsais. I honestly expected this kit to be one of the easier ones, but it has challenged them quite a bit :see_no_evil_monkey:.

The best part is watching them help each other. As more and more finish, they jump in to support those still building, and the whole group is finally picking up real speed. We only have a few days left to keep working; next week they’ll take their bonsais home, since Friday starts our Christmas break.

Also, I’ve had to use superglue a lot lately… and you know what? These kids are totally my team :joy:. They’re already saying things like “superglue fixes everything,” and whenever someone shouts, “A piece broke!”, another one immediately answers, “Go get the superglue! Who has the superglue!?”. I can’t :joy: :joy:.

I adore them, they’re becoming real builders!

Aww! You’re creating something real here. Thanks again a lot for sharing the Little Builders stories and updates!

Sadly they’re not my team, I mean, Superglue does fix everything, but… If I can avoid it, I’ll avoid it  just one question though, how’s the sticky fingers situation around the kids after this build? haha

What a nice experience you’ve given them, and what a present they’ll bring home. Have you already decided what the next Little Builders chapter is gonna be?

Thank you!!

Well, honestly, more than one ended up with their fingers stuck together, but laughing nonstop. I told them warm water and a bit of gentle scraping does the trick haha.

I think the next one will be about the Santa on Sleigh, since they finished both of them today

I love these posts. The children did such an amazing job!
