This weekend, I decided to take a little breather and switch gears to something a bit quicker! Don’t get me wrong—I absolutely love diving into intricate wooden miniature builds, because there is nothing quite like the satisfaction of piecing together those tiny details.
I think this is just the perfect, relaxing palate cleanser before I dive headfirst into my next major wooden miniature project. Sometimes a quick, simple build is just what I need to recharge the creative batteries!
What is everyone else working on this weekend? Whether it’s a massive wooden build or a quick side project, I hope you’re all having a wonderful and relaxing weekend!
@Gidge what a fab lego postcard … oh and you won a prize congratulations! Im having my grandaughter so building sand
Cones and crafts it is today luckily its cooling down in uk a bit !
Thank you Sounds like you’re having a lovely day with your granddaughter — sand cones and crafts sound like the perfect plan. Hope you both have lots of fun, and enjoy the cooler weather!
What a cute idea with the LEGOs. I’ve never seen them before.
I hope you enjoy your next build. Is that the one with the buildings on one side and something else in the other?
Thank you, @Suzanne_Jones. Yes, the next kit i’ll be doing features a double-sided scene. I’m really excited for this since it reminds me of the old days when i would visit Kowloon in Hong Kong with my dad.
I like doing that once in a while too. A quick build can be a nice change of pace before jumping into a larger project. I hope you enjoy both builds this weekend!
