Last Friday, I shared that I was working on a LEGO postcard — and it’s already finished! It only took about an hour, but it was such a fun little build.
The rest of the weekend was the usual mix of family time and some work-from-home moments. Then came the unexpected part… I spotted some Rolife kits at a toy store in our neighborhood.
I told myself ‘no harmlooking’ … but I needed to see the kits up close (they were on the bottom shelf) so I picked them up and thought ‘I don’t have these yet’, lined up to pay (mind you … there was a long line … but I patiently waited for my turn) and before I knew it, I walked out with TWO new Rolife kits. (Oops. My Bad!!! )
Now I’m off to work but I’ve already prepped my ‘work’ station for this week’s project so it’s ready for another relaxing build session for when I get home tonight. Looking forward to seeing this one come together piece by piece.
Yes, I saw the Australia but didn’t buy it since (sadly) I haven’t been. It is quite costly so in a way, I’m relieved that they don’t have all the postcards available all at once or I might have been tempted
@Gidge the hobby cycle is very accurately named here. A quick LEGO postcard, a neighborhood toy-store discovery, and two new Rolife kits somehow turning into a prepared build station feels wonderfully familiar. Hope this week’s project gives you the relaxing after-work time you are looking forward to.
Haha, I think we’ve all had one of those “I’m just looking” moments that somehow end with new kits coming home with us! Your LEGO postcard turned out great, and those Rolife finds were too good to leave behind. Wishing you a relaxing build session after work. There’s nothing quite like ending the day by building something tiny and cozy. Happy crafting!
