Today’s little in-between build!
For those who’ve been following my Cafe Chronicles, I’m currently working on my café F&B menu development. ![]()
And since I’m also juggling my regular work, this little mini-brick grocery store build has been my in-between-everything reset.
I work on the café menu, deal with my regular work, then sneak in a few minutes of crafting whenever I need to switch my brain off for a bit. Sometimes you just need a tiny project to give your brain a different problem to solve.
I’m also working on the exterior of the café now, so it’s slowly starting to come together!
And of course, my two new Mr. Pa blind bags from the Mahjong series had to stay with me!
They were too cute to leave sitting around.
I also updated my Wheel of Tiny Wonders!
Not spinning it yet… Just updating it.
I’ve added more builds to the wheel, which for me, is a very organized and responsible way to manage my growing list of things I want to build.
Please tell me this is not hoarding!
I’d like to think of this as my curated future enjoyment.
When the time comes to choose my next build, the wheel can make the decision for me. Because apparently, having too many things I want to build has become a legitimate decision-making problem.
And finally, a little non-miniature update: it finally stopped raining this afternoon!
After what feels like FOREVER, I was finally able to get outside for my evening walk tonight. I’ve been walking around the mall on the rainy days instead… which has been great for getting my steps in, but not so great for my wallet. ![]()
So tonight: fresh air, a proper walk, no shopping temptations, and hopefully a little more crafting later.
I guess today was a pretty good reset — a little work, a little building, a little fresh air, and zero accidental mall purchases.
I’ll take it!
