I have a big marker collection too, like lots and still miss the color I am looking for. I went to Walmart and bought a basic pack of liquid bottles. I can then mix what I need too. and they were cheap!

I’ve seen that option before. Hmm I don’t know if I’m there yet cause secretly I like having lots of markers. But I’ll tell the wife about it in case she says something haha

This kit already looks so interesting, David! I love that aged vintage feeling, and I completely understand using building time to let your mind rest after work

@Grey74 I really like how you described this hobby as a place for your mind to rest after work. The antique color scheme suits that feeling, even if that pale green edge decided to be a tiny color-matching puzzle. Glad you found a paint plan for the little troublemaker.

I always admire people with such dedication to painting the edges. I’m sure this will look great when you’re finally finished with it.

@Zoe_Lau thank you! I just see it as part of the process and not something extra to do on my kits lol

That’s a good way to think about it. It’s always satisfying to see your hard work pay off in the end.

It’s looking really great so far. And god that you see it as part of the process. Color really can bring an extra dimension to a. Build.
