👍 [Quality Post] Rolife Tower Bridge and Big Ben

I loved building and customizing these two beautiful tiny models. Each has a stone faux finish and I tried to define each detail in both.

@Robotime . Thank you very much. It doesn’t matter about the size of the model. They are all made with such attention the details so I love bringing them to life.

Looks tedious. I wish my hands were that small :squinting_face_with_tongue:

@Brandondomenico …big hands are not a friend with some of these builds…

I made this one years ago at the start of my building process, i wish i had seen this then. I would have used some paint on it. Didn’t think of it at the time

I feel your pain. My first 6 or 7, it never even occurred to me to paint them. The funny thing is that I am a house painter by trade. After I painted my first one, I have never left one blank since then. I am about on number 83 or 84 I think. @Jerry_Boswijk

This looks amazing, how did you paint the walls? Look very good with the different colors you used

Thanks @Liset . I used a sponge to dab several diffent colors on to the ‘stone’ areas

I am new to this and want to ask, does this build require you to paint it? Does it come with paint?

@Jill_Francisco …thank you bery much..it comes in just plain wood…but I paint all of my builds. Paint is never included…but I use Apple Barrel acrylics. Enjoy your journey with these wonderful kits.

Could you please give me more information on how you painted the stone.

They are both beautiful and you have done a magnificent job on them.

Well, she will be unavailable for the next month, I’m afraid. So she will not be able to reply to you

Thanks Tempelman! Just started this and will also be painting so just looking for some advice. She said she used sponges and I will try the same thing. With some greys whites and black.
