It’s been a while since I posted an update on the gift factory. Building it isn’t going very quickly, as I’m painting all the edges and small details. This build is my favorite so far. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I added some gold accents to the garlands on the Christmas tree. I tried to keep the original colors as much as possible, because I already like the colors together. By mixing different paint colors, I tried to get as close as possible to the original color so I could paint the edges.

Took me a while to notice the parts you painted but I mean this in the best way possible. It’s subtle but definitely makes a difference. I think it will look really pretty in real life, photos don’t do enough justice. 
Did you paint the base as well?

think i will have to take it apart and paint it
Hahahaha I thought my eyes were deceiving me and I was seeing shadows. I don’t think I have much patience for painting

It’s looking wonderful already, @Liset! I really like that you’re taking your time with it because painting the edges and small details makes such a big difference in the final look. The gold accents on the garlands sound beautiful, and I agree, the original colors in this kit are already so well balanced

I am thinking this is looking wonderful! I believe that you should take your time to do it the way you want. It is a big kit with a lot to it and if painting takes a little longer. Will enjoy seeing the finished product that much more!
