👍 [Quality Post] Accidents happen ☄️

Assembling puzzles can be an activity for one person or for several people.

In March, I suggested to my friend that we assemble this Sakura Densya Book Nook together. She was happy to help me.

We spent several hours putting every detail together into one picture. We listened to our favorite playlists and talked about everything under the sun.

Of course, there were some difficulties. Sometimes it happens that certain pieces break, or they’re inserted incorrectly, and you have to redo them. But for me, it wasn’t a big problem — I just showed my friend how she could fix the mistake, and we laughed about it together.

But when I was assembling Sakura Journey alone, I had a more unpleasant situation.

One of the larger pieces cracked. I panicked and didn’t know what to do. I didn’t have any glue on hand, and I was already upset, thinking my hands were clumsy.

But then I suddenly realized that this piece could stay in place thanks to the structure and wouldn’t be visible in the finished version, since the broken section was behind the composition, near the wall. I sighed with relief, but I still asked my boyfriend to buy some glue from a stationery store for the future.

I know I’m not the only one who’s faced similar situations. Can you remember a time when an important part of one of your figures broke? How did you deal with this situation?

There is a good topic created by talented @Wenbare , explaining how you can deal with it without panic :sparkles: I recommend you to read it before assembling your puzzles.

That’s a great experience to share. It’s sad, but you learn a lot from your mistakes. By the way, this type of piece is one of the ones I mentioned in a post I made about delicate pieces. They are so fragile!

And thank you for the credit! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Yes, that’s when I realized that such parts are extremely fragile and need to be handled with great care :face_with_peeking_eye:

Yes! Until it happens to you, you don’t really realize how fragile it is :smiling_face_with_tear:

Unfortunately, that wasn’t even the only part that broke in this puzzle during assembly. But the second one was small, and my boyfriend managed to bring me some glue, so I fixed it quickly. Luckily, the break is almost unnoticeable

@old_arcture I immediately experienced a wave of panic, feeling my heart drop to my stomach as I wondered what steps I should take next. However, I reminded myself that there is always a solution for repairing a break—whether through the use of adhesive or by finding a creative method to conceal or restore it. It is reassuring to know that I am not the only one who can be a bit clumsy at times.

I wanted to buy one of these kits and now I’m scared. But your build looks really good and I don’t see anything broken.

How long did it take to build this?

You don’t really need to afraid! Just be careful. These sets are definitely worth purchasing!

I don’t really remember how long the assembly took, since I also always filming my process. But I think it took me about 5h.

Hello! Of course I don’t mind, you can use it!

Glad it’s sorted. Had a similar crack in the pieces that bend.
