👍 [Beginner Tips] Oh no everything is broken

This evening I was building the swing ride. While pressing the top ring in place, all the pieces broke in half :scream:.

Luckily, superglue was my best friend tonight and I was able to fix it. You won’t see the rods in the end, so I hope you won’t notice my mistake.

Tip: Make sure that parts D2 are fully attached to B8. There are no protruding parts.

I had that happen when putting in a second floor of a book nook and broke several support beams

Were you able to fix it then or did you have to wait for replacement parts?

No i fixed it with glue and luckily in the end you didn’t see it anymore. Since then i use less pressure and take a breach and try again. Usually it pops in just like that if you take it slow

I immediately saw it as a challenge to rebuild it as beautifully as possible. I don’t want to have to wait for spare parts. Luckily, it worked.

I wouldnt like to wait either! One of my kits came with a missing piece and luckily it was only cosmestic so i could build without it. I would of hated waiting!

Team superglue here!! Luckily you managed to fix it in the end :face_holding_back_tears: . I also get that mini heart attack when a piece breaks like that and I have no choice but to juggle around to repair it. In the end, it won’t even be noticeable—and that’s what really matters hehe

They were all split in half, and my first thought was, “I’ll never be able to make this again.” So I was about to give up. Luckily, there was a spare piece because one piece was absolutely beyond repair. Luckily, I was able to glue the rest together

Thank you @Robotime. I know you’re the lifesaver, but I always try to solve my problems myself first
