Most miniature kits have you diving straight into tiny details right away, but this one starts with building the structure first and slowly working inward. Watching it turn into an actual little room piece by piece is such a fun process.
The lighting is also SO nice at night
My whole desk looked cozy once I turned the lamp on.
Still at the very beginning of this build, but I’m excited to keep adding to it and see where it goes
Looking great! I skip around on EVERY model as I sometimes find it is easier to install some pieces BEFORE the walls go up. Things that hang on the walls, especially. I also skip around between building furniture, making plants and painting…so I just check off what I do. I am currently building the Sunlit Farmhouse Kitchen.
I want to buy that build next! That’s gonna be so amazing.
I never really thought to ‘skip’ steps, I feel like I’m gonna miss something if I skip and come back! But that makes sense and I think would be good for specific circumstances for sure!
I agree that having the outside first makes it feel a little more like you are achieving something. When you have build lots of little things first, it becomes a bit of a chore.
This looks great.
I love the magic study. I built this for the Halloween last year as a decor and a trick or treaters loved it. I’m probably taking a break today from building, but will do so in a day or two, but I don’t know yet.
So cozy and relaxing.
I have several kits opened. I tend to jump from one to the other when I feel frustrated with a part.
But I’m eyeing to finish an on older kit asap.
Wow! No instructions is brave… but I’m sure with the amount of great builds you’ve done, you probably can tell where some of these pieces are to go! That’s so impressive! I find painting so tedious. I’m jealous of people who have the patience for it!
