Oh goodness. I certainly hope that solves your problem. MANY here have done this one and I’ve not seen anyone post about this. If it were me, I would’ve done a search to find out who HAS done this one before fixing it and tagged them in the post. Best of luck to you!
I’m really unhappy to hear about your problem. I hope everyone and @CustomerService can help you. This seems to be the first time I’ve heard about this issue.
Hi there! We think the switch part has ended up glued shut. Don’t worry—we’ll send you replacement parts for it right away! Just a heads up: please don’t use any glue when you install the new part this time.
Oh no, glad you managed to fix it!
In my case the sound knob works fine and turns smoothly, so it might just be a small assembly tolerance or positioning issue. Your paper trick is really clever though . Geat quick fix!
I think customer service helped me figure out what I did wrong.
I over tightened the screw and that made it hard to turn. The screw broke off from being too tight and that is when the knob fell off.
Right now I have it glued and the knob is functional again. I’m not 100% sure if the glue will be enough to hold long term but I’m am at least glad to know what the issue was.
