👍 [Beginner Tips] Progress on the elegant study

This kit is harder then it looks.

I started this morning with using my new needle nose gluebottle to add glue to the plant really thin. These bottles are amazing.

I found the torn pieces of paper still to big so i tried to make them smaller before i added them. What do you think?

After that i made the red table and the scroll. These turned out really well.

Then the doorbell rang and part of my new tools arrived. The paint markers and a big bottle of b7000 glue and the uv glue. I had warped pieces and tried the b7000 glue. Although it is really strong the warp was stronger but probably only i will notice.

I used markers to paint the pot for the plant as the paper with the Chinese porcelain didn’t work. The pot is curved so paper won’t work. I tried several times ti make black Chinese markings on it but my hand shake to much and the tip of the paint marker is to big so i sanded it and made it red again. Gonna leave it like this as i dont know how to do it. I like it.

I finished with the blue screen and rice paper added to it.

So a lot of experimenting today with oke results

Everything is looking detailed and smooth so far! And it’s nice to see how you deal with the issues you find on the way.

This is looking so nice, Jerry. Those really do look like tiny feathers to me. Are they actually pices of thin paper cut that small? Just wow! On another note, you got some cool stuff today.

I think it turns out great! Even if it was hard. Could you please tell me whether you ordered the needle glue bottles from AliExpress? Would you share a link to any recommended ones? I think I need to try it. So far I always just used thin nail brushes (for making paintings on the nails xD) but I really think this may be a optionn for me. Is B7000 also not turning hard in them? Sorry for a lot of questions.

Everything was great.

That’s a great question @aga2713 . I have never tried mine because I am scared of glue hardening in the long nozzle tip.

I have the B7000. The cap has a pin in it that helps to keep from clogging. It will gather glue around outside and in the cap, but it is easy to remove. Sometimes I need a tweezer to remove from cap, otherwise no issues really and I mistakenly bought the big tube

I think everything turned out beautifully! :pink_heart: They’re certainly very small pieces and pack a punch of challenges. The plant in the vase is :100:!

Thanks dear! I’m currently in busy weeks so I have little time for craft shopping but as soon as everything turns out normal i will definitely use this recomends of yours with glue! The bottles are also very interesting. I wonder if the tacky glue I have would also fit in them, so as not to clog
