Hello, I am having a problem with the space shuttle model.
When I turn it on, all the switches are in the correct position, as shown in the picture. I press the main switch and the lights come on. I press the button, the system activates and the rocket descends (it moves to the 170° position). But when I press the button again, the motor continues to run in the same direction as the first time. It is impossible to return the rocket to its initial position. (Part C14 is in place and pressing on T3).
@ShinyWolf no picture attached. If possible, do a little video as this tends to be helpful to those that have built. Also Customer Service likes a video. Hang in there, since it is over New Years it may take a couple days for someone to get back to you!
and Welcome to the community. I just know that someone here will be able to help!
It looks like it sliding out to much forward as the tip is coming up and when it want to return there is not enough wood and grip to slide it back. This was my test
The blade is in the same position as in your video. However, when I run tests without the gear that moves the blade, the motor never stops. Is this normal?
Okay, while dismantling it, I found the problem. The part that presses on the T3 when the rocket is lowered was facing the wrong way, so nothing was stopping the motor.
So happy that you have found your problem. Every single detail matters on this one. I always try to look at my model in the exact same position shown in the instructions to make sure pieces are going in properly and in the right direction. I hope you have smooth sailing from here on out.
Hello! The T3 switch needs to be fully pressed when the landing gear is completely deployed, at which point the landing gear motor stops running. Based on the current situation, the issue lies here. You can try two solutions: ① Move F10 slightly upward. ② Bend the copper sheet of the T3 switch a little. The goal is to make it easier for the T3 switch to be pressed.
